You might not think nachos when you think of an Irish pub, but they have pub-style nachos we ever had.

In town for SuperBowl Sunday - that means a night at Hurley's was in order! We visited three of the establishments bars and ate at one with the live music playing. The band was okay, their sound needed some adjustment as the vocals were drowned out, but I think the atmosphere calls for Irish or folk music, not Millennial emo.... More

A run of the mill irish pub with wildly over priced beer. $9 a glass. The owner needs to really think about what he expects people to put up with. It was nearly empty when we went, and we got out as soon as we could. Service was mediocre and the food was on the low end of pub fare.... More

Went there for a 5@7 and for friends meeting and as usual, its a very good place to go for enjoying good fries, chicken wings and some guiness beers. Will continue to go again for sure. It's a pub so forget about anything fancy; it's more about that irish tradition were it hangs around good food, good beer and awesome... More

Another great evening of food, drinks, music and a ton of fun! Great selection of beer on tap and scotch. A spot that the locals and celebrities visit - you never know who you might see after a hockey game.

Ordering and few simple half pints was as painful as going to the dentist. The waitress, seemed to be far more interested in something else. This pub is not what it used to be on a Saturday night, perhaps, times have changed, but too many kids

We always make Hurley's a stop when we visit Montreal; a traditional Irish pub with trad music and the best Guinness pour anywhere; staff very good and friendly, great vibe

My drink was disgusting. Sat there and watched my fiancé drink his beer without touching mine for at least 15min because the waitress avoided looking in our direction and when she did, she turned away and ignored us. By the time she came to check on us we were more than ready to leave. Absolutely hate this place. Waste of... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
