Had a really nice time here. The French onion soup was fantastic. Very flavourful and authentic. Staff were very professional and friendly. Nice location in old Quebec City. On the expensive side but well worth it.

We were in town on Friday night, without a reservation. The wonderful bartenders at le Chateau Frontenac (Jean-Felix and Isabelle) made some great suggestions but tables were scarce and we were hungry. The Continental had a table, so off we went. At first, it seemed too stuffy and formal; the waiter was a bit surly. We almost left, but we... More

We dined here for a special dinner during a weekend trip to Quebec City. The setting is wonderful, the service impeccable, and the food was pretty darned awesome too. I had soup, main course, and dessert and my wife had salad, main course, and dessert. I had a cocktail. This is definitely a special event kind of place. In the... More

Attractive; excellent service; excellent food. I wanted sweetbreads and got them here VERY well executed. Good wine list. Expensive.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The venison was prepared exquisitely and the beef filet was huge and flambéd right at the table. Our waiter was attentive and very skilled, managing to prepare dishes at several tables flawlessly. The decor is elegant and the location in the old city was convenient as it was a short walk from the Chateau Frontenac where we... More

We had THE best brunch! They put out a huge spread 3 different meats, pasta and other salads. I couldn't eat it all and my husband loved it he talked about it the entire trip. The service is beyond compare and food quality was amazing.

We chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. So happy we did. Although our first impression was that it might be a bit stuffy, we were pleasantly surprised by the fun we had with the servers. There was a large selection of wines by the glass, necesary when everyone is... More

My husband saw this on Anthony Bourdain's travel show and we immediately called for a reservation. No disappointment. Known for their flambé dishes and table side Caesar salads, we ordered the recommended and it was great. The Caesars were delicious and the Steak-au-Poivre was mouthwatering. The desserts were fun, the servers were traditional-in tuxedos, and the ambiance was old world... More

My husband and I ate dinner here on a Tuesday night and enjoyed every minute. It is pricey but worth it. This is an old school restaurant that specializes in flambé dishes. The wait staff is very attentive. Our Cesar salad was prepared at our table and our Sole was filleted table side as well. Both were delicious. Their wine... More

I went to Le Continental with my husband for lunch. The restaurant is very fancy, and therefore I would dress up if you are going for dinner. The restaurant is very expensive. If you are looking to save money, go for lunch and save 30-40 dollars per entree. Lunch was 20-30 dollars per entree. Dinner was about 60. We had... More
