I was expecting something a bit bigger but it was cozy and cute. There are only about 6 bar stools and a dozen or so tables. They had a special of $5 pints of draft beer from 4-7pm and we chatted with some other folks seated at the bar. We met some locals and some other tourists. We had thought... More

Great local spot, small, quaint and cozy with a lots of character. You feel like you are in a cave with all the stone. Staff (especially Élodie) are so charming and fun. Good for a drink not really a place for a meal. Sometimes have live music. When visiting Québec we will be sure to stop by.

Stopped to warm up and have a pint. Sat at the bar and met Valerie, the bartender. She was awesome! Good beer, nice ambiance, great bartender. Great find!

Our walking tour guide recommended the beef stew, it was out of this world. Just the basic menu items but absolutly delicious. The young lady working that Monday night was the best. She was friendly with all the guests and served everyone with a smile. The atmosphere is perfect, old wood, stone, and creaky floors. Was set up for live... More

Old building housing a rustic wine bar with some beer and a nice offering of cheeses. Good place for a stop in the late afternoon or after dinner.

Delicious home cooked food, warm & hospitable staff and great local music. Pape Georges is a must stop for those wanting a local feel in the popular tourist district of Petit Champlain.

I decided on something light and saw this place and decided to stop. Very eclectic and tons of charm. Good beer and drink menu, however the food menu was limited. Bar tender was very friendly and the sandwich I ordered was pretty good. Great place to stop. Feels like I stepped back in history.

We stopped to have a happy hour beer and quick snack here and were so happy we did! This little gem was a great find. The bartender was polite, the beers were cheap and fresh and the cheese board was divine! Cheese was local, chutney and relishes were perfect matches, and bread was fresh. And the prices was great!! $18CA... More

Great spot for a drink and some fondue... be sure to order the side of prosciutto as well, it comes with the most AMAZING chutney which they make from scratch. Very friendly staff & patrons, we had a lovely dinner here.

Marvelous food rich and flavorful! Small place at lower part of old Quebec with local beers and. ciders on tap. A great place to enjoy a meal with you friends and loved ones!
