I love to go to the royal george for a Sunday Roast as they are very cheap and very nice ones. The staff are very friendly and accomodating.

If you want a decent meal at a cheap price this is the place to go it is basic but we have eaten there many times and always enjoyed it staff are nice

We arranged with Birash, food, tea and coffee for 60 people who came here straight from the funeral service. Ok I won't lie it was a case of flicking a coin.. This or Toby and visited here. visited on 8th march 2017 with my partnet and really enjoyed the meal and suprised 4 drinks 2 starters and 2 carveries come to £22 Bargain. The food was hot plentyful and great choice ontop of the 3 roast carvery and meat was juicy and tender. Only reason I cant give 5 star is the place needs to be uograded... More

Family get together. Good evening. Very reasonable prices for the food and drink. The chef at hot plate was very entertaining. Will definitely go again 😊 Only down side is the pub dose need a lick of paint

Beer had run out, staff overworked, had to order a main menu for a child of 10 as the portions were ridiculous for a very small child. won't go there again. Just don't go! took me 3 years to go back and never again........

This visit showed that The Royal George has tried very hard to regain the previous level of service, food and surroundings. The staff were, without exception, friendly and welcoming. The Royal George is a part of the Crown Carveries chain of restaurants. It is also a strong community pub within the Upper Shoreham area. We are located on the opposite side of the Holmbush roundabout to the Next store. We serve Breakfasts and carveries daily.
