This place and people who run it are wonderful With so much other anonymous corporate cafes around its so refreshing to still have great local businesses like this. The veggie bomb (even for meat eaters) is great and it's dog friendly too and so Bonnie approves greatly Woof woof.

Had lunch here yesterday (picture included); it was really well presented; the smoked salmon pate was homemade; lovely touch of vegetable crisps on the plate. Portion of lunch was generous too. There was quite a choice of drinks on various notices In the cafe. It's full of lovely touches; like different chairs at the tables. There's also things you can... More

I come here regularly for lunch, and each time I have a different choice of specials with great, fresh ingredients. I can even tailor the menu to what I fancy. Really good coffee too. Highly recommended.

we did a bike ride in the area and stopped here for lunch. I had baked potato with bacon, brie and cranberry jelly--very nice and tasty and generous portion, but potato cd have been more cooked, it was a bit hard. Husband had welsh rarebit which he said was excellent.

This was our second time visiting- we should've remembered our first trip here involving rude staff and inedible cheese and pickle toastie, but alas we gave it another go.... Woman on counter almost smirking as she took our order, delivered our drinks (one cup had some kind of brown stuff all over the side) thought she'd wipe the table as... More

Called in for coffee with a friend on Sunday - 2 coffees and 2 biscuits and the bill was nearly £9 - better value in other places. Also, a bit picky, but I prefer coffee from a cup rather than a large mug.

What a perfect little cafe for a bite to eat. Reasonably priced for the great quality food. We had delicious sandwiches which the gentleman was very happy to adapt to our needs. Excellent service with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Would highly recommend this cafe!

Loved the food, Welsh rabbit with Stilton cheese and pear. Photo tell you of the ambience of the place. Coffee fresh from bean and taste out of this world.
