Not the cheapest but these best that Isla Plana has to offer. Excellent and varied menu, attentive staff. We eat here often and continue to come back when you want something a cut above the competition.

An unassuming building on the outside, but a really cosy restaurant inside. Good choices on the 'menu del dia' and at 13 EUR very good value. Quite busy midweek with a number of expats and locals. Well worth a visit.

We have had several celebration meals here and it never fails. The steaks are wonderful and we always have one of their sauces alongside. Mussels are also great. Good selection of wines too. Waiters are attentive and friendly. One of our favourite places.

2017 update. Returned to Nono and it is still one of our favourite restaurants... Great ingredients, beautifully cooked and at reasonable prices. We've tried the a la carte menu and had the steak cooked at table and the veal with foie gras and they were both delicious... but the Menu del Dia is amazing! There is such a variety of... More

We went here with our kids, 7 and 8 years old. Salades were perfect. Ik had a very big T-bone steak, well prepared, for only 18€! Nice wines; not too expensive. Would certainly go back.

Puerto de Mazarron is a great lively place for food and beer, but for something a bit more refined and classy, drive east for 20 mins to Isla Plana’s Casa del Nono, a little Ponderosa of a place out in the sticks. A tower of crab, avocado and roast hazelnuts was a great starter (the warm-up glass of cold fino... More

I've eaten at Casa Del Nono, many times over the past 13 years, but this was my first experience at menu del dia for lunch. There were 6 of us, and luckily we had booked, as the inside patio area was full. The service was very attentive, and the menu varied. I chose cauliflower pie to start, which was delicious,... More

Last here about 4 years ago for dinner. Then it was a bit expensive and lacked atmosphere but this visit last week for lunch found a big change. Food was gorgeous, sat inside and whole ambiance was delightful. The staff were still quick and attentive even though tables were full. Highly recommended but advisable to book especially for lunch.
