Despite the mixed reviews we decided to visit for dinner. We were impressed by the setting, located on the beach - has a combination of undercover dining and beachside dining. It has a nice pool area as well.
The cocktails were mixed well and delicious...(Rp 80K @). We went with bruschetta for appetisers (Rp 38K@) and seafood combination (Rp 135K@). We had finished our cocktails well before our appertisers arrived. The tomato bruschetta was fresh and delicious but the ragu bruschetta was a bit heavy and wasn't as flavoursome. Did question the fact that it took almost 30mins to prepare such a simple dish. The mains took another 30mins before it arrived - wasn't that the restaurant was that busy at all. The seafood combination was a little on the small side - three small pieces of fish, two prawns (one of which was overcooked), a shishkebab of squid & capsicum (the capsicum was raw and the squid barely cooked enough) and a scattering of chips (just over a dozen), with some sliced tomatoes and cucumber.
For such simple dishes, they seem to take forever to prepare and serve, and they were just poorly executed and tasted average - was expecting more & didn't receive what I was expecting for such a great venueMore
