Food was good, manager/owner very sweet and gracious but we had 4 people, shared 2 pasta plates and a fried calamari and it was $80 with the coperto. Not worth it in my opinion.

Without doubt one of the best seafood risottos in the world. Spectacularly fresh fish cooked to perfection.

Two friends and I took a day trip to Burano, and needed to visit Al Gatto Nero based on Tripadvisor reviews, a recommendation from a local woman who grew up in Burano, and the photos we'd seen of the food. We were informed by the local woman that the restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, their sons... More

Food was superb. but service was a little slow. We both had risottos, they were cooked just right. Perfect aldente and seasoning. Heard that Jamie Oliver loved their rosottos. Everything was good!

Whenever in Venice we make a bee-line for Al Gatto Nero da Ruggero Restaurant on Burano! It is always such a highlight of our visit to venice. In September we brought 15 friends with us to savour the 'whole' experience - and they did. We love to create an unforgettable experience: beginning by heading up the Grand Canal, across the...
