We stopped here for a break and a quick Beer while waiting for the ladies to finish their shopping. Waiter was excellent and provided us with some casual discussion along with a good sense of humor. Beer was cold, service splendid, location excellent.

We came over from Venice on a taxi with the Burano lace "factory"...I am extremely happy to say take the tourist experience. Our waiter was wonderful--Enrico--chose our meal. Best risotto I've had in a long time, the appetiser of fresh crab was fresh and had perfect balance of herbs and lots of crab. The fish selection was perfect. Prepared and... More

We were all over Italy and found Venice the hardest place to find a square meal. Burano is far enough from St. Mark's square for you to leave your guard down, but you need to realize that it is it's own center for avarice. You will find no locals eating at this restaurant which should tip you off. Also the... More

A waiter can make or break a restaurant experience and Enrico was quite exceptional! - especially considering it is end of season and wait staff are likely quite tired. (I could see that other staff were not as pleasant, which perhaps explains some of the other reviews.) Thank you Enrico! It was a beautiful cloudless day, warm enough to sit... More

We were very happy to find out that this restaurant offered gluten free pasta and even rice crakers for appetizers. The pasta, fish & wine were excellent!

A small group of us traveled to Burano while visiting Murano Island. We had a wonderful lunch at this Italian restaurant. The seafood dishes were terrific. When the waiter heard that my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary he showed up with Prosecco for all of us. The suggested daily seafood specials were very reasonably priced with decent portions.

Avoid at all costs. Expensive for really quite scarily bad seafood and pasta. Rating if two because the beer was cold.

Be careful of hidden service charge that is not explain to you. Really annoying when this is slapped only after you're done with the meal. It is allowed, but ludicrous and most annoying. Food mediocre.

Restaurant Galuppi is a cute little Italian restaurant off the main square. Steeped in seafood dishes and fantastic Prosecco, this restaurant offers dozens of fresh catch, and menus printed in four different languages. Set down and enjoy a drink, take a break, watch the travelers, and soak up the ambience.

Location: In midst of the square in Burano which is surrounded by beautiful coloured houses. Ambiance: The interiors are very beautiful. The outdoor seating can not be missed! I mean if you are in Burano, then won't you like to eat in front of the coloured buildings? Staff: The tables are strictly allocated to waiters and hence the waiters don't... More
