We went dining here a few days ago. We enjoyed the very quality food. A good atmosphere and very polite people. They suggested us a good affordable red wine. Our kids enjoyed it also.

Always a pleasure to eat here. Reasonably priced menu which is consistently good. Small but good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone.

This restaurant is part of the hotel Palacio del Obispo, which we spotted whilst exploring the centre of Graus. It’s very well located, in a quiet street just a stroll from the Plaza Mayor, and it stood out for its understated elegance and attractive 3...course set menu. We went for dinner when there was a choice of 5 or 6 dishes for each course for €24.99 including water and bread. The service was excellent, there was only one waiter who was extremely helpful and friendly throughout. For example, we sat outside, in the pretty walled terrace/ garden and he offered to move us inside if it got too cold. Also, he told us how long we’d wait for our steaks to ensure they were cooked to our liking, offered more sauce if we wanted more, alternative drinks when they didn’t have the one I asked for. He was eager to ensure we enjoyed our meal, nothing was too much trouble for him. The quality of the food was excellent and the portions very generous. I had the “quiche boletus” which was delicious and bursting with flavour and my husband the smoked salmon and langoustine salad with tuna sauce which was very nice. The entrecôte was tender and cooked to perfection, it’s a pity we could not finish it, it was so big! I would very much recommend a visit to El Criticón and we’ll certainly be back!More

We ended up there by chance and we were surprised by the quality. They had a menu and no a la carte, but even though That through us off initially, all the dishes ordered were absolutely delicious

We stayed in the Palacio del Obispo which is excellent (see separate hotel review) and we had lunch and dinner here with friends. The restaurant like the hotel is very attractive. There's a set 3 course menu at 18.75 euros which was the same for...lunch and dinner (and also apparently for lunch the next day!). There are 4-5 choices per course. Our lunch was very good: eggs with a tuna filling; 'longaniza' sausage from Graus with grilled red peppers and for dessert a red fruit-flavoured yogurt ice-cream. The local Somontano wine from Otto Bestué and coffee were also included. Dinner was more problematic and one got the impression it had been prepared several hours earlier. My slices of tomato, parmesan and basil looked and tasted distinctly sad and were not freshy prepared. And the grilled trout which followed was stone cold. If we had not been with friends, I would have sent it back. Had it not been for the dinner, I would have given it a 4 rating.More
