Simply the best on the island. Food presentation, taste sensations, service, Wines. Always a great treat when in St. Martin.

I wanted to go to Bacchus because of the wine store, which is supposed to have one of the best selections in St. Martin. I figured why we were there my wife and I would also have lunch since we had a free afternoon before catching our flight from the Grand Case airport to St. Barts. Wow am I glad... More

Turn right at the end of the small airport runway toward "Hope Estate" into a new industrial park -- almost no signage -- to find one of the best French restaurants and wine shops on the island. You really have to want to find this place to get there. But once you've been, you'll discover you can't wait to go... More

We occasionally call in the buy wine if we don't want to go into Marigot. We will also go for a light lunch. The food is quite good but over priced. The locals also say Bacchus is expensive. We bought 5 bottles of wine that again I thought we were a bit above what I thought the price would be,... More

Bacchus is a fine french restaurant, specialty deli and purveyor of french wines. It is not a quick stop joint but rather an eatery to savor a European style lunch in all its slendor. It does not open for dinner hours. The food is exquisite, the service is good and paced for a leisurely luncheon, probably with multiple courses and... More

Service contrary to some reviews was fabulous. We are a May December mixed race couple with a wife that speaks French so maybe that helped but I have never had a problem with service here. the food was amazing as was the wine selection. The took us on a tour of the wine cellar where the selection was to die... More

I work on yachts so I pass through St. Maarten sometimes. Every time I pass through we choose to go to Bacchus. Don't go if you are in a hurry. The service is slow which is fine for us because we want to enjoy a leisure lunch on a day off. We aren't looking for American service where they are... More

We ate at Baccus in the St Maartin airport. You know how airport food usually is...bad and over priced. This place was neither! We had a Greek salad, a Panni and a good bottle of French wine...it was truly a great experience. Prices were very reasonable as well.

SInce both daughters are mothers themselves, we opted for the Saturday to celebrate this day together. We had a choice of tables, and were comfortably seated, and asked if we wanted water. The specials were clearly visible, and two of us decided on the smoked salmon with tuna, accompanied by French fries and a salad, while the other daughter chose... More
