Ate at the New Inn for the first time and can higly recommend it. We were a group of eight with some fussy eaters but all tates were catered for. The portion sizes are generous, I struggled after a starter of breaded brie to finish my green risotto but both dishes were very good. Other dishes enjoyed by the group... More

Lunch start at 12.00, by 12.30 they had run out of sautéd potatoes and rationed our portions by adding new potatoes to make up a serving. If we had wanted new potatoes we would have ordered new potatoes. the edged of the table was so rough that I snagged my jumper.

Nice atmosphere, very warm, inviting, your classic British Pub with a hint of elegance. The staff are very friendly, catering, and ensure they have met your needs and satisfaction. There is a beautiful back patio and front patio, and the building itself is great. The reason my rating is so low in contrast with the positive attributes of this restaurant... More

We wanted to have a drink after shopping at Bromley for the afternoon so drove out of our way home for a drink at the New Inn. Bar was quite busy but we were refused service as I was wearing tracksuit bottoms (smart), I was also wearing a shirt and nice clean trainers. If you are going to have rules... More

Hi Narrin Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed on your visit to us. Upon opening almost 7 years ago we introduced a number of policies, the dress code being one of them. The policies are detailed on the homepage of our website. I am sorry you were not aware of this prior... More

The food is great, the wine and beers is great the staff are fantastic and very friendly whether they are behind the bar or waiting on the tables, they seem to have the balance just right. Met friends at this bar which is my local on Friday. Nice place, very busy. But Clientele leave something to be desired. Especially ones who seem to be off their heads on nose candy (there was alot of sniffing going on in the toilet, so either it was that or an industrial amount of Vicks Vaporub was being consumed) and... Had lunch at The New Inn recently - warm welcome from the bar staff. Pre-lunch drinks were served promptly and our lunch order taken. The food was outstanding, nicely presented and served with a smile. Felt very comfortable throughout the experience. This is a modern establishment with an excellent decor. Having paid our bill the young lady waitress said she... More

Sadly, this is not a comfortable place to eat or drink. It was refurbished a few years ago and the décor is modern and the layout spacious. However I don't recommend this as a place for women to visit on their own. The place was full of stalking and lecherous men.....not a pleasant experience at all. As for the food,... More

Dear Lumpyc Thank you for your review. I must say I was left feeling rather concerned after reading it. Over the years we have created a welcoming and friendly place to eat and drink. We are lucky to have a wide range of customers, many of whom are female and enjoy nights out with us. Should you have felt uncomfortable... More

Arrived at the venue, had a booking for 5 people, service was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. Only downside is that it can get slightly loud from the people drinking with laughs and conversations.

Hi John Happy New Year to you. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It really is appreciated! Thank you for your kind words. It can indeed get a little loud in the restaurant being open plan. However when you return you can request the quieter end of the restaurant and we will do our utmost to... More
