Stopped off for a pick me up coffee , the selection of cakes on offer was amazing and decided to give in to a berry sponge cake. All the cakes were prepared fresh and didn't mind paying that bit extra for the quality. disappointed the flat white was more of a cappuccino but will be back to sample the lunch... More

Great wee spot in one of my favourite places in Ireland. Food is quirky but wholesome and filling. The service was good and very friendly. The views are amazing. Well worth dropping in.

My brother and his wife, my wife and I made a reservation for a Friday night dinner. The reviews we had read via Airbnb about this restaurant were for most part excellent. They close at 7:30 pm so we had a 7 o'clock reservation. We came in and there were only a few people there. The wait staff was young... More

We had pre-booked as a large group, and the meals were all beautifully cooked and presented. I had the cheeseboard which was absolutely delicious, with pickled cucumber relish. The service was impeccable and everyone in the group was very happy with their meals. Unfortunately, I didn't have room for one of their delicious looking cakes...

We've been here with my wife, by opportunity (the unique place to eat in many kilometers). I've only tasted one course, the "bay prawns, fresh fish and sea spinach chowder". A very different and original way of a chowder, with tomato and lighter than the traditional chowder. The course was really tasty and very fresh. The owner offers a warm... More

We've been here before over the years, and were very happy to go back - twice - during another weeks stay. Excellent menu - the range of options is wide, and interesting, guaranteed to wet the appetite. Friendly staff always helpful. Good fresh food, cooked well, presented well, and served well. While waiting you have a view into the Atlantic... More

During our stay in Ireland we spent two nights in Fanore. We discovered Vasco's the first night and went back the next evening to be treated to a second delicious meal. They use locally sourced products in their dishes which contributes to the freshness of the food. The presentation is well done. When we entered the restaurant we were immediately... More

Following a disappointing visit some years ago the weather forced us to call at Vasco for coffee one day and lunch today. A big and pleasant surprise it was. The menu on the board is full of new style café dishes and very varied. Cakes are a but solid but good. Among us we had a chicken casserole with a... More
