My other half and I have been coming to Koh-I-Noor since I was studying at Brunel University in Uxbridge. We happen to come here by chance around 16 years ago and loved it so much that we made sure to visits at least once a month while I was at Brunel, and every 3-4 months since I finished my studies.... We visited this place before and decided to visit again after watching a movie at the nearby odeon cinema. We weren't aware before but it's apparently the oldest indian in the area according to the menu. The food was great and the service was not over bearing. We ordered the biriyani and it was just the way I like it.... More

This place is like Fawlty Towers! No Dhai (yogurt) geezer went outside and bought from corner shop and blatently walked back in. Paratha had no Aloo or Gobi or Masala. My boss was insulted and said this is not a Paratha and the owner had the nerve to charge me for a Aloo and Gobiless paratha! I was lucky my... More

We might have caught this place on a bad night but on going in it wasn't very busy but this didn't prevent some very slow service. We were sat at a table that hadn't been cleared properly or reset after the previous diners had left, we were told that there were no clean table cloths to replace the marked one... More

Was on a business visit in uxbridge, and went to the Kohinoor as it was recommended by a local person, it was a pleasant experience, i wish we had such a great curry house in our town. Five stars all the way.

Don't let the decor put you off. The food will more than make up for the ageing decor The food is consistently great. The chicken tikka dhansak is spot on and the sag aloo is also top drawer. The staff are always very helpful and attentive It's a shame they no longer offer the lunchtime buffet, but my waistline has... More

Ate here 2 nights in a row, just couldn't get enough. Service was great and staff very polite. Food quality was excellent. They are open late nights, past the opening hours of all other Indian restaurants around. Try this place you won't be disappointed!

I have been in Uxbridge this week on business and had a meal at this restaurant with 2 friends on a mid week night. The food was relativity nice, we all had different meals. It wasn't the best curry I have ever had but by no means was it the worst. The food however, starters and main course did take... More
