For the 3rd time in a month we have eaten here! A lovely pub with a separate restaurant/dining area if you're not one who likes to sit in the bar area! The first time we was a Sunday & was a spur of the moment decision. People were having roasts & they looked & smelt lovely we couldn't resist! We... More

Popped in on a Saturday evening with my daughter for a single course. Lamb shank was lovely, and at a reasonable price. Daughter's 'nuggets' (she didn't finish them, you know what little ones are like) were lovely moist chicken covered in a great batter, very tasty! The twist was that despite good food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices, we were... More

Wanted to try the peanut butter cheesecake for pudding but was told it was still frozen!!! Had the chocolate torte instead which... More

Stopped off here for lunch on the way to our weekend hotel. We opted for the 2 lunches for £12 deal as ciabattas were almost £7 each. Food was lovely and hot and service was good too. Would have been 5 stars only we thought paying over a £5 for a diet coke and an apple juice wasn't good value... More

Recently had occasion to book a buffet lunch for a Christmas celebration for our choir. On arrival we were supplied with tea/coffee and the buffet provided was excellent. From the time of booking the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and they made the day real fun for us not minding that we sang for 45 minutes before eating! Not... More
