On our way to Batangas for a swim when we passed by here for a coffee and snack. The place is so comfy! They have reading corner with books! I love how they designed the place with all the antique sewing machines. Their Halo-Halo is to die for! It's truly a must try. And the coffee tastes very good! I... More

Old sewing machines serving as tables, nice interiors, tasty desserts and local coffee including cappuccino and espresso...what more does the traveler crave for?

Caffeño is one of the best place when you are looking for best dessert in San Juan Batangas. Their "tameles" Cake with flavored of Batangas Coffee and home made ice cream is the best. I also try the Iced Latte and Adobo tortilla and i like it. I would recommend Caffeño to my friends and relatives.

If you're looking for refreshments and something new, Cafeno is the place. Satisfying rice meals and desserts. Pricey but worth the try. Try barako ice cream and monggo soup served w rice. #musttry for travelers

The only reason this place exists is due to it's prime location along the road to your Batangas resort. The Good: It's reasonably clean, has paintings to look at, and some neat antique Singer sewing machines at the tables for some reason. Your aunt from California had some photos of a cafe she liked and tried it here. The Bad:... More

This is the final pit stop to Laiya where you can taste kapeng Barako, Barako ice cream and Tamales. This restaurant has been in the same spot for years and it was the 1st gasoline station/coffee shop in San Juan, Batangas. It has undergone renovations but still has maintained the old school vibe.

good thing we were able to reserve before arrival, the coffee shop is just small.. yet it is very cozy... the food is cheap and yummy... pity some of our orders are out of stock because of many clients i guess.. but overall, if given a chance i would love to come back here!

Coffee! Having driven nearly 130 kilometers from Quezon City, I needed caffeine for the remaining 22 kms to Laiya. Never mind that it was a blistering hot afternoon and the cafe's frontage at the corner of the street seemed to be soaking in the sunshine. I really had to stop. Maybe, just maybe they'd have the famed Batangas barako coffee.... More
