Situated in the centre of the town, with a beautiful garden and excellent food and staff. It is a place of Serbian tradition and culture, with lots of historical paintings, documents and souvenirs. The ambient brings us vividly back to the time of our Karadjordjevic...dynasty. Excellent variety of food, with very good service. Restaurant can be used also for meetings, celebrations or simply for family/friends gathering. Highly recommended.More

From the street one walks through an unassuming entry to a courtyard and then enters a beautiful restaurant. We were warmly greeted and seated at an elegantly-set table. As we have found to be typical in Eastern Europe, The owners/management/ waitstaff were genuinely happy to...have us there and did everything possible to make our visit memorable. The food, Balkan classics, was delicious. We had soup, fresh warm bread, salad, chicken, pork and, for dessert, cake. The restaurant is about an hour's drive from Belgrade and Is near Topola, the home and burial place of the Yugoslav royalty, so it makes for a nice day or half-day trip. It was one of our best dining experience in three weekas in the Balkans.More

A big surprise - located in the central part of a small town, Restoran Aleksandar gives you a chance to taste the Sebian/ Balkan cuisine. High quality food, good wines and beers + liquors. Try appetizers, particularly kajmak and local cheese, go for kotlet and...steak. Just be careful - portions are huge!!!More

Our small tour group stopped there for lunch and we could not have been more pleased with perfectly served warm rolls, a salad of fresh tomatoes, cabbage salad and cucumbers followed by a pork roll with a complementary sauce, a chicken breast with a perfect...cheese topping and a variety of grilled vegetables. All of this was filled by a tasty multilayered cake. The local white wine or local beer we a wonderful accomplishment. Needless to say most of us could not finish the entire meal.More

There is a lot of nice words I would like to say about the restaurant, food, vine selection and fire in a fireplace for that days when it is cold outside. The overall atmosfere is warm and pleasant.Outside of Belgrade but very easy to reach...by the car. I recomend for those who like to taste smtg different.More

We had a meal here as part of a tour group. The entrance to the restaurant is through a pretty garden area. The food was excellent, but so much of it!! We were told this was an "average" size traditional Serbian meal - how do...they fit it all in? The staff were very friendly and efficient.More
