We called in on the off chance as in the area unexpectedly, what a find!! The decor is very nice and it has a homely feel to it with good chesterfield leather sofas in the bar area, everywhere was spotlessly clean and welcoming. We were lucky as it was sunday and they have a carvery on which we love. We... More

My family and I called ahead to book a table as with it being close to Christmas thought it best, the gentleman on the phone was wonderfully helpful and was a sure sign of the quality of the establishment. We arrived and were served attentively by all staff with a very warm and welcoming feel, almost as if it was... More

Not that easy to find on a dark night, situated on a very busy narrow road with the post code covering a large area and the sat nav telling you are there well before you are. However, the search is well worth it. Entering the pub you are immediately impressed by the decor with hop vines covering large parts of... More

Four of us went on a Wednesday evening using our taste card. Good wholesome food, ample of it and very reasonably priced. Good service and easy to park a real find.

A recent visit for a midday meal, met with a warm greeting and friendly smile, the staff are really friendly and helpful. Good range of food on both the menu and specials board. Fantastic quality meal and plenty of it. Shame we live so far away otherwise this place would be a regular haunt for us

this is a little gem. Their sunday lunch is lovely offering a very good selection of vegetables and meat. The staff are very friendly too. We have yet to try their desserts but have always been so full up from the main.
