Have been here infrequently over the past 3 years and its always a good place to visit. The staff are very friendly and the food it superb. There are a number of bars to sit in and the there's a large covered outdoor area. Try the games room where you can have a game of dominos or darts.

Eaten here twice in the last couple of years, both times the food has been excellent, with lots of vegetarian options, and the service friendly. I will be visiting more often in future!

What a delight this place is. A proper old pub complete with its authentic decor. No sanitised English Heritage paint schemes or oak tables. It's a proper pub with a proper landlord selling proper cask ale. Good, no-nonsense food to back it up. Well done and keep it going. So nice to visit somewhere that isn't a dumbed down chain... There is a beer here for everyone. Interesting old pub with a ton of history. Often busy but service is always OK.

My colleagues & I regularly choose the Vic for well, any lunchtime excuse. Traditional pub atmosphere, home cooked food & LOTS of vegetarian choice. So refreshing to find. We'll be back soon I'm sure!

We visited 'The Victoria' for a few drinks whilst in the area. The pub is a classic old fashioned place. With plenty of character inside and out. Plenty of drinks available, including many beers both local and national. Great choice of food (on the blackboard) and looked really good too. If you looking for a table in the evening though,... The Vic is our local. There are very many lovely things about this pub - really nice atmosphere, a roaring fire in winter and wonderful outdoor area in the summer. The majority of staff are wonderfully helpful and friendly. Both food and drinks menus are varied. And it is literally situated on Beeston station platform 1, making it a great... More

Great find after a walk around Attenborough nature reserve. I thought it was a lovely old fashioned style railway tavern. The barman was very friendly and his recommendations on the beer and food was spot on. I had the lasagne and my husband had sausage and mash all washed down with a nice pint of beer. Would definitely visit again.

We have been going to the Vic for many years and every time we go it never disappoints. The beer range was extensive and featured this week Tiny Rebel beers that were superb. As always the hardest thing is to narrow down what you want to eat but nailed down the paella which was fantastic. The atmosphere is relaxed and... More

Love this pub still has that old friendly charm, open fire, old wooden floor, massive choice of beers, whiskey etc.. Didn't have anything to eat this time but know the food is high quality. And best for me is they serve London Pride ( other beers are available ☺)
