If you want matching bedspreads & modern fitted furniture then don't come here, however, if you want character, olde world charm & a warm welcome then this is the place to come. We stayed for two nights & really enjoyed our stay. The Landlord (Chris) & the locals couldn't have made us more welcome. We went B & B &... More

We stayed for a couple of nights, our room was big, even room for a sofa in front the tv which was very handy indeed. The ensuite shower room was excellent, recently refurbished to a very high standard, the shower cubicle is a 'one and a half' size which gives ample turning space!! Could have done with a heated towel... More

We stayed at The Bell for two nights. The pub is full of character with an excellent range of beers and the landlord and his lady wife are very courteous and friendly. They work hard to ensure both the locals and the staying guests are looked after very well and made welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and the atmosphere... More

The people that run this pub really work very hard to make their clients feel welcome and as far as possible meet every need. We arrived to stay in one of their rooms but it was after they had had a flat out weekend due to their community involvement in village activities. Regardless they treated us as if we were... More

The sort of village pub which is becoming harder to find. Cosy and welcoming, excellent beer from Hook Norton. Separate rooms which haven't been knocked through. Warm fire on a chilly day. Welcoming staff, friendly locals. Food was simple but good quality. They are also keen supporters of folk music.
