We were passing through Glangevlin on a Sunday afternoon and wondering where to go for dinner-other than the "Cottage"and we chose this venue after looking at favourable reviews on Trip Advisor.Had a beautiful meal in this restaurant-the chicken supreme was the best I have experienced in a long time.As we discovered from the very pleasant waitress (who was the chef's... We had our daughters christening lunch here, and the fantastic staff of the Riverbank Restaurant couldn't have done more for us. They tailored the menu (which was very well priced) to our needs. We had our own area of the restaurant so we could come and go as we pleased. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious -... More

Went with a friend for lunch, we both had the Silverhill duck with lentils and it was superb. Lighter than you'd imagine (I mean not fatty- loads of duck leg meat) and very subtle Asian flavours with the lentils. There was a very decent choice of foods on the menu but said menu was clean and precise. They also serve... More

A long wait to be seated for our evening meal was well worth the inconvenience last Saturday. It was a very busy night for the Restaurant who were catering for a large group in their upstairs area. The bar is relatively small but comfortable. The menu is varied and extremely reasonably priced. The food was very well presented and tasted... More

When I'm visiting Sligo I take a taxi to this restaurant as the food is simply delicious, these chefs know their stuff. This time I was staying at a hotel near by with friends and they too were very impressed with the food and service here. We intended to eat at the hotel on one of the nights but we just... More

There are a great choice of dishes on the menu(very reasonably priced ) and the food is amazing even down to the presentation. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I strongly recommend a visit , you won`t be disappointed .

Stopped for lunch with our two young kids. Food would have being really nice if it wasn't poisoned with salt. We had soup, caesar salad, goat's cheese salad, a portion of chips and a baby bowl. All over-salted. I don't know why they put salt on the tables.

My husband Tiernan O'Rourke and I went here for dinner. Beautiful setting. Steak cooked to perfection. But what was even more impressive was the conducive atmosphere and really wonderful staff. Patrick. Excellent. And the young lady who served us was just so lovely. The price? Around 50 euro with a free glass of wine. Cooked to perfection, our 28-day hung... More

We were in the area, staying at a BnB nearby and the staff recommended this restaurant. We were not disappointed. A wonderful meal paired with a very nice bottle of wine. A nice change of pace when visiting Ireland from the wonderful pub food we had before. There is a pub attached but we sat in the restaurant. The staff... More
