The place is simple with traditional food and very friendly service. Some of the dishes might be on the spicy side. The music is kind of loud.

Been a few times already and always enjoyed both the view from their terrace onto the surrounding hills and the food which includes great vegetarian options. For me this the best food you get in town.

Los Placeres has nice ambience and a varied menu. It potentially could be a topnotch restaurant. However, they put MSG (in the form chicken bouillon) in almost everything they make. Most restaurants in town do the same, but it is surprising at Los Placeres because...More

Mexican food, with a wide variety of options. Fresh local ingredients. The ambience and decoration are nice, they have some tables in a terrace with a beautiful view of the mountain and archeological zone. I recommend the "rabbit sopes", the "ranchero steak" and the "cochinita...More

Los Placeres is placed in an old house and it preserves some of the rustic decor. There is a large menu with special emphasis on trout. We ordered several small dishes (croquetas, dobladas, etc) which were nice. As a main plate I ordered the chicken...More

Situated in the main plaza with a magnificent view of the archeological site this is a relaxed easy going (dogs welcomed, kids menu) restaurant. The menu celebrates Mexican flavors with international flair e.g Nopales (edible cacti) with hibiscus fand zuccini flower. Don't miss the seasonal "chiles en nogada". Decor persues to preserve it's old house setting creatively. Great music, attentive service. Los Placeres also has a gallery with art exhibitions.Opened from thursday to sunday. We offer catering service for weddings and special events.
