Very healthy, reasonbale prices and quite original for a restaurant in a rural town. Great valu for money place in the heart of town. A must visit. We also... More

We stopped here for a late lunch and opted to sit in the outdoor section despite the fact that it was the smoking section. Luckily, there was only one person smoking and his table was far enough away that it was not a problem. Everything we ordered hit the spot. The staff was nice and the service speedy. Would definitely... More

I went to Malinalco just to have a walk with my dog while walking I got hungry so we decided to ask in Los Placeres if we can get in with my dog and the surprise was that they accept dogs, so we got in and there were more dogs inside so I felt much more comfortable. The food is... More

I'm staying in Malinalco with my friend who's a local and the first place he took me was Los Placeres. We both ordered the Cochinita, which came sandwiched between two halves of a grilled banana with a side of bean sauce and an epically spicy nopales salad topped with pickled onions, mango, and an insanely spicy chile pepper. The cochinita... More

Ate here for lunch and it was outstanding. We each had one of the specials and both were happy with our choices. Nice little patio out back and friendly and helpful staff.

Great food and excellent service. The best restaurant in Malinalco. The place is beautifully decorated, you will feel like in an old Mexican house. I tried the trout "totomoztle", which is served in a corn husk. I recommend the mezcal of the house, which is produced locally.

Description
Situated in the main plaza with a magnificent view of the archeological site this is a relaxed easy going (dogs welcomed, kids menu) restaurant. The menu celebrates Mexican flavors with international flair e.g Nopales (edible cacti) with hibiscus fand zuccini flower. Don't miss the seasonal "chiles en nogada". Decor persues to preserve it's old house setting creatively. Great music, attentive service. Los Placeres also has a gallery with art exhibitions, and cineclub every thursday.Opened from thursday to sunday. We offer catering service for weddings and special events.
