We love everything about this place. The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly and they welcome dogs and children with enthusiasm! On cold days you can sit by the log burner, on sunny days sit outside looking out over the garden. There is a small selection of lovely plants for sale. You can leave your car in their... More

I had heard about Dutch House from a relative and decided to take the kids for pancakes. Dutch House is a great little tearoom, situated in the Howardian Hills near Crayke. It also serves homemade soup, sandwiches, bacon and sausage butties and homemade cakes. Very nice!

This is a nice little cafe with simple choices such as Dutch pancakes. Having lived in Holland I quite like going here for coffee and a taste of Holland!

We had a great time here. The pancakes are scrummy and they do a gluten free option as well. The prices are mid range. Friendly staff. The best bit for me was looking around the gardens after lunch. They also have an art gallery as well. Its well worth a visit but I would advise to reserve your table as... More

We were staying in a cottage nearby and someone told us about the Dutch House so we decided to go there on our way home, so glad we did. What a lovely place to visit ,there is a contemporary art and craft gallery with some unusual paintings, sculpture and jewellery for sale, plants for sale and delicious coffee and food.... More

Visited for lunch with family, one of whom is gluten free. No problem at all to order a gluten free pancake, which was delicious. Between us we had a variety of pancakes and the soup and sandwich combo, all of which were excellent. Our guests very much enjoyed the opportunity to walk in the wildlife gardens and we purchased three... More

A very lovely business that is a real gem. Lovely people with obvious passion about what they are doing. The food is beautiful and fresh and the gardens are a delight. Added bonus is the large dog friendly space it offers too!

Beautiful wild garden. I now have a gloriously colourful screensaver! Got some inspiration for our allotment from the raised beds. The Dutch House was such a lovely place to visit. A friend recommended it as she knew I'd love the combination of art and nature. The courtyard is perfect on a sunny day and we admired the decorated pigs while... More

Fantastic place to visit, friendly staff, good food, lovely gardens and gallery plus they are very dog friendly. The only downside is it's not very well signposted until you are near the place itself ( on the road from Crayke to Brandsby).
