Absolutely love this place. We tend to go once a week either for breakfast or lunch. Food is amazing (you can tell it's fresh stuff and the meat is proper stuff) and not too pricey. Great in the summer being able to sit out and there's a little play area for the kids.

We have never had a disappointing meal here. The service is excellent, very friendly staff, and the food never fails to disappoint - fresh, hearty cooked local fare. Such a wide range of choice with an updated specials board. Lovely log burner and a farm shop as well. I can recommend the soup, the pie and the cake - fantastic.

Always think there should be something between average and very good like good! The last time I came here it was a pub so got a bit of a shock. They sell alcohol and food so basically still a pub but have a shop attached and have branded themselves more like a cafe. We wanted a Sunday roast really but... More

A party of 12 of us decided to try the Friday night Fish and Chip night, and were not disappointed. Beautiful tasty moist cod, with a light crispy batter, quite frankly the best I have had, and amazing value for a fiver. The young lady who looked after us was very efficient and charming. We did want coffee, but were... More

Anticipated a better quality meal. The plough mans, with cheese only as we are vegetarian was not good. Too much toe, salty bread and boring cheese. We expected a selection of cheeses for a cheese ploughman such as Stilton, creamy Brie as well as a good quality cheddar and crusty bread. The coleslaw was unnecessary as was the quantity of pickles/ chutney.....we did... More

Always enjoyed breakfast here, and the service is excellent. However somewhat surprised last night, the menu on offer was; Fish n chips, Sausage and chips, Scampi and Chips or a Chilli ! So if you don't like Chilli your choice is 'fried food', don't cook fried at home, sorry didn't like it,won't be coming back for early evening again, such... More

Great place to have breakfast and cake. They do a variety of good coffee and flavoured teas. Lovely outdoor seating on a sunny day. Wheelchair accessible

Very friendly and pleasant. Only downside is it's VERY dog friendly, which is fine if they're well controlled, on short lead, but not if the owner allows them to sniffle round your table and food. Maybe a polite request to dog owners. Nice shop next door too.

We take mother in law out for a weekly airing and have used the Colliers for lunch on several occasions and always had an excellent meal in pleasant comfortable surroundings. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful and service is excellent. Fresh cooked food and varied menu to all tastes. Do not miss out on a good experience.

This is a great spot for lunch, coffee and (amazing) cake or an all day breakfast. The staff are really friendly. They found room for us even though they were packed full. Loads of options including lots of veggie options. Veggie options include all day veggie breakfast, paninis, omelette, something on toast, toasted tea cake, and haloumi burger and chips... More
