Went there recently. We had the crab pasta, beef ragu pasta, marinara and I had the risotto. Everyone loved their meals except me. The risotto was average otherwise my score would have been 4 stars. Wish I also had the crab pasta. Waiter was friendly and the night went well.

Our group ordered 2 pasta and 2 risotto main dishes. All 4 dishes were generous in terms of serving size but the quality was appalling. The 2 risottos were dry, lacking in seasoning and in general showed a complete lack of care and technique. The seafood pasta (gluten free) was inedible. The pasta had a mushy, gluggy texture and the... More

Our group of 4 ordered two bottles of wine and asked for water a couple of times... we never got water. The service was good at the start when we wanted to wait before we ordered so that we can catch up before eating. Then we went to open our menus and i didn't have a menu, only a wine... More

Worst meal , had the seafood platter, everything was battered including the whole prawns, yes shell and all. Didn't know which end was which and put my knife through the head, of course all the crap in the head went everywhere making it impossible to eat any more of my meal as it was contaminated . On informing the manager... More

Whilst we love writing positive reviews it really isn't possible for this place. One entrée dish- the scallops was passable, the other a sausage dish was heavy on garlic and had nothing whatsoever to recommend it. The main courses were truly awful, the veal was anything but soft and mouth watering as veal should be and the pasta had clearly... More

My partner and I visited Gusto's on a not so busy Thursday night. The restaurant was a quarter full and the service was appalling. We were shown to our table then waited, waited and waited until eventually I got up and asked for menus. We then waited some more and after 20 minutes we both got up and left.

The young guys serving were friendly and relaxed. The menu was pretty run of the mill, but probably what you are looking for if you want Italian. We shared a dozen oysters for starters, natural, so you cant go to far wrong unless the oysters are old. They were fine. For mains I had ravioli filled with duck, spinach and... More

Have been a reasonably regular over the year, and went to Gusto a couple weeks ago. Was really ordinary, food was just OK, service was disinterested and cold. Not sure what has changed but last three times have been very average and probably won't go back again. Certainly try it yourself but don't have high expectations.
