Went for lunch today. Very interesting menu. Had smoked haddock rarebit with a poached egg. Perfectly cooked and tasted divine. Devilled whitebait and curried parsnip soup went down well too. Cosy fire on a miserable grey day. Worth a return visit.

This pub had a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were polite and friendly. We enjoyed a very tasty Sunday lunch, with starters and desserts all were very well cooked, presented and served. Well done to you all, we look forward to returning soon.

Been going here a few years now and it never disappoints. Food has always been good and reasonably priced for the quality. Dog friendly is also a welcome bonus.

The only pub in the village and should be a decent "local". No frills decor, sixties music piped out, friendly staff, good service & choices of beers & food on offer. That said, the burger and pint I had were perfectly adequate but cost almost...More

This is an excellent, friendly and relaxed place to eat. The steak specials are very good value and desserts are of high quality if a little expensive for a village pub.. Service is always prompt and staff attentive.
