We came here for a lunch with friends on a Saturday. It was a special open day for the manor and gardens and there was a tasting menu on offer. THIS IS A GEM!! Fantastic food and first rate service. Michelin star well deserved!! Two...More

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed - we were given a quick tour of the restaurant and gardens and a brief history of the house. Aperitifs in the very comfortable sitting room (we must visit in the winter to benefit from the...More

The manor is very much out of the way and when you leave the M11 it's still a fair way. The grounds of the manor are beautiful, a mix of manicured and wild, the building is very old and needs a bit of TLC but...More

We were given "luncheon vouchers" to Gravetye Manor last christmas and decide to use them to celebrate both our birthdays. This is undoubtedly the most civilised, highest maintained standards and almost overwhelming levels of service restaurant I have ever visited. Everyone should visit Gravetye at...More

We stayed for one night's B&B with evening dinner also booked and included. It was a "dream" experience from check-in to check-out - and we are very critical people! The room was beautifully set-up, free water and juice plus a Nespresso etc. if required. The...More

The afternoon tea at Gravetye Manor is amongst the best I have ever had. Twelve of us had tea in the gazebo to celebrate a friend's 70th Birthday. The selection of sandwiches were fresh and tasty and accompanied by warm home made sausage rolls which...More

A delightful experience from the moment we entered the grounds and drove through the beautiful estate. We ordered from the Daily Menu ( three course set menu at £35 per head) and considered all our dishes to be excellent, offering a superb 'summer' meal which...More

I booked a table for lunch for a birthday celebration & wasn't disappointed. The property & grounds are beautiful, so would recommend strolling around them while you're there. Food was excellent, as expected, and reasonably priced for the set menu lunch. Style is very classical....More

We 4 had the 3 course lunch menu, choosing right across the 3 options available per course and all declared their choices to be very good- well presented and (not too) speedily served. My only point of criticism is that the wines are very much...More

Description
From unhurried classical dining in our atmospheric wood panelled restaurant to leisurely lunches in the garden, from traditional Afternoon Teas to our very reasonable Table d’Hote menu – we hope to delight and enchant with our food regardless of the occasion. We are incredibly fortunate to have a one acre walled kitchen garden, which during the summer months provides 95% of all fruit and vegetables we use in the kitchen, assuring you of the very freshest ingredients. "We have an exceptionally talented team in the kitchen who are very keen to keep ingredients as fresh and local as possible. Dishes will change as often as is practical and will offer something new to try regardless of how often our guests dine with us. I look forward to inviting you into our restaurant at an exciting time to try, what I firmly believe to be, some of the most honest and delicious food in food in the area." Executive Chef – Rupert Gleadow
