Visited the Wheelbarrow Castle for the first time in several years and were not let down. We enjoyed a very delicious carvery meal which left no room for any of the delicious desserts! We have since recommended to friends and will return!

Decided to go out for a meal and try the Carvery here. Got there to be told they don't do it on a Saturday night. We had something off the main menu and where not disappointed. My wife had the Chicken, Bacon & Advado Salad and wow the amount filled the bowl. I had the Sos and Mash and the... More

Excellent food in lovely surroundings. This was our 3rd visit for the carvery in the last 2 months and the food is so good. Choice of 4 roast meats and plenty of vegetables too. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Desserts are also delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Came here for a family get together over lunch.....place is spotless and inviting, although rather sparse in customers for a Saturday as we heard if was great.....thought that would be to our benefit as we'd get good attentive service....not so I'm afraid. Drinks order seemed to take forever, we were literally parched when they did finally arrive. Starters came out... More

I took a group of 30 pensioners for a Carvery lunch this week, the staff were very attentive and friendly. We had a lady that has special dietary requirements and the staff accommodated this very well. The meal was excellent and the choice of vegetables was extensive, there was water at the end of the bar free of charge which... More

Had to wait around 50 minutes for staff to set up tables, good thing the weather was nice, some members of staff where very rude towards members of the party, and service was sometimes slow(but guess that was due to it being busy on the day of visit.) food tasted okay, would recommend the nachos,
