Came across this by chance but went there three times in a week. Lovely cake, scones tea and coffee on our first visit - the clotted cream was just right and the apricot jam was delicious. On later visits we had savouries which were equally...More

Loved our short stop at this very special tea room in the pretty village of Appledore. Brilliant chef and host provided fresh ingredients and a wealth of knowledge on local area. Whole collection of locally sourced produce. Only downside is no cards so take enough...More

Popped in to the tea room en route back from a long doodle walk along the river. Had a slice of coffee and walnut cake and a slice of Victoria Sponge and we were not disappointed. Had them to take away which wasn't a problem....More

We enjoyed the home-made sausage rolls here with a cup of tea. Would have come back, but we couldn't easily find a parking space as we drove through on the next day.

Ideal place for afternoon tea/coffee. Excellent toasted tuna melt and toasted cheese and onion. We will be back to try the sandwiches, scones and cakes! Please note they do not take Debit or Credit Cards - CASH only.

On the day of our visit a lot of the tables had been reserved but there were sufficient free. As it was a lovely day the outside tables were popular with cyclists and tourists. I had a lunchtime special Scotch eggs and salad with real...More

We went here on a Sunday afternoon for a cream tea. Very quirky but unfortunately I found the staff a little abrupt for what is supposed to be a relaxed atmosphere. The food & home made lemonade were top notch. Might have to try again...More
