Friendly; great food. We like lunch there too, but always a great breakfast. We go there multiple times every visit. They use to be in a little motel across the street and moved into this larger space when Marriott opened. And, they got better.

One word: YUM!! My family has a cabin right in south shore and growing up visiting all the time leaves me with excitement for our driftwood breakfasts! Wishing I could eat it now!

Very tasty breakfast and lunch in a convenient location near the gondola. Crowded on weekends. Staff are warm and welcoming.

The title says it all, great coffee, yummy breakfast with loads of options and friendly service. Can get busy on weekends so be prepared to wait, but staff will work as quick as they can to seat you.

After a year we went again to Heavenly and before going skiing we had breakfast at the Driftwood Cafe. Excellent breakfast, very friendly people, nice and cosy. The omelettes are very good. Hope to come back soon.

The restaurant is quaint, and the food is amazing. If you go for breakfast on a weekend day, expect to wait a while to be seated but know that it is well worth it. I always get the Denver omelet, which is delicious. If you're in a hurry, they make egg sandwiches and breakfast burritos to go. Get the breakfast... More

Nice little cafe. Eggs Benedict were good. Service was ok. Nice selection for breakfast. It's Tahoe, so a little pricey.

Stop here for lunch during a snow storm that closed the skiing resorts. Good food with hot drinks made a good lunch on a snow-out day. Good service.
