I didn't have a clue what the process was like but the woman working was helpful and didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing how to get to the megalithic site. We got coffee and a brownie while waited for a key to be returned and... More

Called after walk in Mullaghmeen Forest. Had lovely homemade soup and brown bread. Lady behind counter recommended we visited Loughcrew Cairns.

Call in on the way home. Walked in through the coffee shop to do the walk. We didn't realise we had to pay in as there was no signage to this affect. We were stopped by the rude older lady behind the coffee dock. She asked us where were we going and that we had to pay. We had no... More

Anne-Marie (Buffy) and Noleen in the coffee shop were so good to us going over and above to make our visit as pleasant as possible. We went for a visit to the nearby cairns and returned for a delicious hot toastie with complementary tea from Buffy... More

We had a very pleasant surprise when we stopped for lunch at the coffee shop. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and plentiful. The only problem was that there was a lot of waiting involved.

Just back from a wonderful wedding in Loughcrew House Oldcastle Co Meath. This is a perfect wedding venue where we had freedom of the whole house. Loved every minute of it.
