I was a tad reticent to go because of some crappy reviews on here. But my love of cider overcame this. Good job because this place is fantastic, don't believe the negative comments on here. It's so worth a visit!! The welcome is warm, the cider we tasted was the best I've had in NZ and the food was really... More

Lovely spot for families, great friendly service and the pork burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had!

Wanted a break from driving so stopped in for a drink. Then decided to have lunch. Don't know if the waitress is drunk or careless but water glass had an ant squashed on the rim, she spilled cider on my sons seat and said "oh, I always spill cider". We changed seats from another table after she walked away. The... More

Visited the cider shed yesterday. Nice surroundings, absolutely delicious food. The children also loved their ribs, burger, hot dog. I had fish and salad with some chips. Really nice.

This place is about a five minute drive outside of Warkworth up SH1. The staff are really friendly, and happy to chat, especially about their ciders. They specialise in some real interesting ciders from Forbidden Brewery. We ordered a paddle of four ciders and had a diverse selection including chilli, pear and plum, chocolate and Pina colada flavours. Very tasty.... More

Booked a table for lunch in advance before driving in. Restaurant was only 1/3 full yet our meals took 1 and 1/4 hours to arrive. No forewarning by staff that there would be this much of a wait when we booked, nor when we arrived and ordered. Food ok but didn't make up for the wait.

We visited The Cider Shed for an evening meal while we were staying straight across the road at Annie's.

We met family here for lunch and the grandkids played outside while we waited. It is not a place to go if you are in a hurry to be sure. But having said that we weren't so it suited us, we ordered fries and onion rings they came quite quickly but the burgers took a while, they were very nice... More

We visited here recently and on arrival we greeted and shown to our table. A great little venue which had great decor and nicely laid out. We all ordered different burgers and the wait time was perfectly fine. We struggled to eat all our food as the portions sizes were quite big. The bread is quite dense so very filling.... More

We visited the Cider Shed on our way home from Waipu for lunch. I'd been waiting to go here for quite some time and was thrilled to finally make it. Parking was plentiful and we were greeted and invited to sit "wherever you like' so we took a seat outside under the veranda. We placed our orders and enjoyed the... More
