I was actually looking for another place for coffee/lunch after I'd had unfriendly rude services at a nearby vegetarian cafe. I found Y2 when I was driving around and decided to stop for coffee. It looked promising as there were a few people in there when I arrived. I had the big jaw as a salad -no edam cheese included as apparently would have been if I would have chosen as a wrap or sandwich, and would have been good to have a dressing that wasn't mostly just oil. The selection here is good for lunch or a quick breakfast. Given the location and the surrounding options, the price comes in at more of a once in a while thing vs. a daily option. The Friday chili is good and the service is friendly.

Tried to go here several times but it was closed. It is open in the week during business hours only. Had a lunch special that was a chicken curry with rice. Delicious. For several years, a small coffee shop, Village Flavours in Edgemont Village, was a hidden gem in North Vancouver. 15 months ago, the owners decided to close, rather than pay an exorbitant increase in their rent, and to look for another location.
