While the service is good and the food is decent, the experience really requires Mother Nature's cooperation. As the name indicates, you go to the Observatory for the outlook and view. Unfortunately, we got socked in with a thick fog and couldn't even see the gondola. As hard as the staff try, it's not worth the effort to get up... More

This fine restaurant has a great view from the top of the mountain. It is not too big and not too small, which gives somewhat comfortable and cozy feelings. I visited this restaurant in the winter during ski season as it has ski slopes to the top of the mountain. Servers at the restaurant are knowledgeable and very kind. They... More

We were given a voucher as a gift and saved it to visit with 90 year old mother in law, daughter and granddaughter for birthday celebration. Fixed price menu was "to die for". Server was very good with my special dietary requirements and in particular as we visited the other Restuarant previously we knew there was a suitable child's meal... More

We recently visited The Observatory at Grouse and found the experience underwhelming and overall disappointing. After waiting 20 minutes after our reservation time, we were eventually sat at our table. The service was friendly but our food took almost 40 mins to arrive and when it did it was luke warm at best. Not what you'd expect for 'fine dining'.... More

I was there in a romantic birthday date. In terms of place, is fantastic. But, In my opinion, the dishes should be made with "harmony". When you offer this kind of cuisine, it is very important how to combine flavours, also how to present the dish. If you are offering a creative and extra-expensive cusine , please I recommend to... As we have visited Grouse mountain this was the only place to eat, but it was not compromising despite there was no other restaurants around. The food was delicious, service fairly quick- yet you can wait and enjoy the view forever. We had two young kids with us which were given some crayons and paper to draw on so they... More

We wanted to have a good, fine dinner with our teenagers on a very long driving trip throughout the BC area. We couldn't have asked for a better place. First, the restaurant is at the top of Grouse mountain, and you can only access it using the Sky Ride. That in itself was an experience, since it was a windy,... More

My boyfriend (now fiancé) and I came up here a week ago for a 8.30pm dinner to celebrate our engagement. It was a thursday evening and there were only 3 other parties dining at that time. We appreciated the intimate setting. Upon arriving we were promptly moved to the table with the best view the moment it became available. Dinner... More

Had a lovely lunch here with family just before Christmas. 3 course set menu, which a few twists in the traditional Fabre. Staff were friendly and knowledgable. Good selection of wines and seasonal cocktails. The view was fab! It had been snowing and the forest was ( pardon the expression) "A winter wonderland " It was also clear enough to... More

We booked a Christmas lunch here after reading that it is one of best Christmas experiences in Vancouver. What we experienced was possibly on the of the best Christmassy experiences to be had anywhere. We didn't know that Grouse Mountain is the "North Pole of Vancouver" , so when were arrived for our meal a few days before Christmas, we... More
