Favorite bakery in Canmore! From the moment you step through the door, you will feel like you've been transported to a French-Euro bakery & café. Pascal makes the best whole wheat sourdough on the planet - and I used to live in San Francisco! But every loaf of bread here is the best, right? Every one of those tiny little... More

This is a must stop if you are in or even driving through Canmore. Cappuccino and Lattes are outstanding but what really stands out are the fresh baked pastries. It is expensive but this is the classic "you want quality then you have to pay for it"! Highly recommend.

Our son told us about the turkey baguettes and how good they were. They are superb as was the coffee and desert. We visited several times and can't wait to go back to Canada to return to Le Fournil

This is by far my favorite place in Canmore! I make a point to stop in every time I visit! Everything I have had has been so authentic! Some might think the prices are high. But for scratch made traditional French baking by professionals; I say it's on par! The food and service is worth every penny!

The people were friendly. The bakery is ok. Price was very high. Latte was average. Better than Starbuck. Not likely I will go again.

Their coffee is sooooo good. Pastries and dessert are to die for. Sandwiches are incredibly good. Price is a bit high but totaly worth it. Been there many times and I will continue going. Great patio!

Thank you, Nick for the excellent praise! We welcome you anytime. Regarding our prices, all of our ingredients are of the highest quality and every item is handmade. We hope this helps to explain the higher price as compared to other providers in the Bow Valley :) More

Couple of us stopped in for a bite around noon and tried the quiche and croque croissant. Both were very good! Tried a couple desserts and again, excellent. There is a long line of people but it moves quickly. You can sit and eat or buy amazing things to go like baguettes, pastries and desserts. Great to take home, especially... More

Wonderful French bakery- great food and great service. Food is fresh and worth the price! Go early or you may miss out on some of the delightful pastries and treats they have to offer.

Merci Manuela! You're correct - come early so as not to miss out. We also accept pre-orders, three days in advance for pickup. So that too could always help to ensure you get what you like. Hope to see you again soon! More

We spent a week in Canmore recently, and were delighted to find Le fournil our first morning. Pastries rival anything you will find in France, coffee carefully prepared and served, and the decor is understated and beautiful. Anxious to return on the next visit.

I really LOVE macaroons, and theirs were so good! I haven't eaten in the cafe itself but I will definitely be going back to get some more of those macaroons, and try some of their delicious delights!

Fantastic YouMy1982. One important detail to note, they are called macarons (with just one "o"). Very different from the English macaroon ;) Come see us again soon, we change up the flavours to keep things interesting. More
