I've now visited The Port Bistro Pub several times and find it a refreshing experience. Its a real gem and the ambience, food, and staff make this place a must stop destination if you ever find yourself in Quinte West. Lots of parking nearby, waterfront towards the back of the restaurant. Easily accessible. Clean and on trend with modern fixtures.... More

What a great spot to have a quick lunch. Staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable and the location is wonderful, price was a little high, but you have to pay for quality and that is what you will get. I would definitely return.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time. Finally got there. Nice microbrewery beer selection. Great apps and salads. Overall a nice menu. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our server April (Aubrey) was the best! If, like me, you're tired of the big chains. Give this place a try.

The ambiance of the place is soo different from places, where you cannot even see what you eat. This pub has high ceilings, beautiful windows on each side. Very clean. Even the floors are clean. Attention to detail. Attention to food. Will come again.

First visit. The food was good and well prepared. Service was fair. For not being very busy could have been better. Although auto gratuity for a family of 6 is insulting. You got your 18% and I will not return. Pro tip I usually tip 20 and I would have returned.

Justa Our POS system picks up there are 6 people in a group and defaults to the 18.5% gratuity. The system cannot tell if there are 6 adults or 6 kids in the group, just 6 servings ordered. The policy is plainly marked on the menu and the server probably told you when the bill was brought over as well.... More

Sitting outside is certainly a pleasurable experience...The food is good-ish...small portions...they didnt offer any substitution ..for gluten free options...I suggested corn chips..just for one person..and I was refused..so I told the server I would dip my parsley in then.....she just walked away...Spent $150.. on lunch and wine...and sure left hungry...No intention of eating there again......Although I realize for Trenton..it has... HOTELJUNKY88 You know, I'm not sure how to comment. First off, it is now January, so 6 months after you visited .... Secondly, our menu in September (we do change the menu seasonally ), had 19 gluten free items listed, and indicated as being gluten free. 4 salads. 7 appetizers. 8 entré items. More

Went in for a quick meal with the kids early on New Year's Eve. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, server was pleasant and the food was enjoyed by all (I would highly recommend the Bistro burger). Only real complaint was the cost of drinks for the kids. They both ordered an ice tea but it came in a tin. Shortly... More

I have been here for food and drinks. It is higher priced being more for the people who just love the quite uppity bar scene. Not to say the food quality is bad at all in fact whatever we had was excellent. Drinks are on the higher priced end for a small town. Nice atmosphere in the back along the... More

Description
Situated in the heart of Trenton, The Port Bistro Pub is located in a beautifully restored historical building overlooking the Trent waterway. In the summer season, there is a spacious patio where you can watch the boats pass. Inside we feature the work of local artists & live music on Friday nights. The Port features a menu of gourmet comfort foods made from the very best quality, local products. Everything is made in house including hand-cut frites, desserts, and all sauces and dressings. The menu changes seasonally. We are proud of our unique beer list featuring local, regional and international brews, a comprehensive wine list and a great selection of cocktails and martinis. Additionally, we offer warm, friendly customer service and a fun unpretentious atmosphere that is uniquely ours. We strive to go above and beyond our patron's expectations and make The Port something the community can be proud of. This is partially achieved through our Green Initiatives and by highlighting the area's finest produce, meat, beer and wine. The Port opened July 14th 2011, with new owners acquiring it on August 1st 2014. The Port is locally owned and operated. We invite you to join us for some shared plates with friends, a full course meal or just a drink on the patio.
