Good food, good prices and great staff. Food comes out of the kitchen fairly fast and we were not disappointed.

Have eaten there many times. Pleasant, efficient staff. Enchanting decor and most of all, the food is always good. This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant worth dining in if you're in Owen Sound.
Channings is always a great place to eat in Owen Sound as it is right on the main corners of downtown. The food is of excellent quatility, good portion sizes, lots of variety and friendly and efficient staff. Our favourite Chinese Restaurant.
I have been a customer at this family run restaurant for more than 20 plus years now. Love the Chaning's food. Lots to choose from but our favorite is the Chaning bowls, chicken balls (order sauce on the side) spring rolls and eggs rolls. Lots of room and they can accommodate a larger group. We always order extra so we make sure there are leftovers for the next day's lunch.
I'm a senior and I like spices if you don't like spices like you food very bland. This is the place to go. Service is excellent. But when I order a curry chicken. I expect the curry. To tastes like curry but I have to omit Lotta seniors like it there
Just oil everywhere. I mean insane amount if oil. Lemon chicken almost burnt, like so fried it's just a thin dark husk. And burnt noodles, how do you burn noodles? Hear great things but got just oil and burnt noodles. I think this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Sad cause I don't get why it's so... More
Had Channing Restaurant, Chinese food on New Years Day. It was delicious. Honey garlic chicken balls, sweet & sour chicken balls, & sesame chicken are my favourites. Portions are generous and freshly made, and quite reasonable.
