I went here on a double date for fish and chips. I ordered the Haddock Fish and Chips and was very disappointed. While the batter was tasty, the fish was soggy. I know Haddock is more than likely frozen, it's not hard to prepare and cook it so it's not soggy. The fries were OK and though I got a... More

Service is good and the restaurant is always clean. I bring my family here all the time. You can see the lake from the patio.

We have a cottage here so have gone here for many years. All their fish is good and the beer is cold. Try not to go when it's crowded. On Saturdays go before 6 or after 8.

The fish and chips are very good. Do not order the Shepard's Pie...it is awful. I had one mouthful and left the rest. Everyone else enjoyed the fish and chips...luckily tons of chips so I got to share with them. The house salad is terrible....iceburg lettuce, wilted onion and some green pepper... The decor is old but okay for a... More

Kincardine is a small town on the eastern shore of Lake Huron, almost a two-hour drive west of Collingwood, Ontario. I went there last weekend to help a friend at nearby Lurgan Beach and was rewarded for my help with a dinner at The Erie Belle. There are a number of restaurants in Kincardine, which is both a tourist destination... More

We had gotten take out before, and think these are the best fish and chips we've had in Ontario. So amazingly tasty. However, we went for sit down in the restaurant on the long weekend and had terrible service. Granted, we expected to wait, and for the service to be slow, but it was utterly chaotic. There was no one... More

A smallish pub style restaurant, the food was very good and lots of it. It is obviously owned by people who came from England judging by the soccer pennants decorating the bar area.

Five of us went on Monday September 12, 2016. First, the server was not well trained, did not know the type of white fish nor the types of salad dressings. The meal for each of us was deplorable, not well cooked and no taste. Chips were way undercooked. Salads (mandarin) and Shepherds Pie were bland. Fish was almost nonexistant and... More

Disappointed is the only way to describe my recent visit BACK to the Eire Belle. My baked potato was tepid in temperature and the fryer oil needed changing. I will return ONE MORE TIME down the road to allow for this otherwise GOOD establishment to REDEEM itself!

Went for lunch, we both ordered battered white fish and chips. My wife enjoyed her fish; I thought mine was a little on the greasy side. Lots of fries, came piping hot. Not the cleanliest of places; it could use a thorough cleaning to make the surroundings a little more appetizing. Would come back here again for fish. Nice beer... More
