New owners…..well that's different. Old owners were definitely better. Now it's table service? But doesn't act like it a whole lot/ Very disspointing breakfast anyway. Maple duck sausage sucked. Service wasn't great. New owners didn't even make an appearance! I like when new places have...More
Just had a very disappointing breakfast at Cafe chartreuse. The maple duck sausage was dry and unseasoned and poached eggs were terribly undercooked. The pancakes were heavy and the maple pecan butter that came with them was an oily concoction with barely a hint of...More
Walked in for lunch the other day and noted there were servers, and more tables placed in the eating area. Sure enough, now there is table service. Menu provided was quite limited - with an abundance of dishes with eggs. I had a traditional caesar...More

Central downtown location, bright airy interiors, bottomless coffee and hearty comforting foods!! We had omelette of the day, poached eggs breakfast and fried eggs with homemade sausages - all good. Colourful local artwork on the walls added to the ambience!

The ordering "process" needs working on but this place is worth visiting if only for the excellent, fluffy, pancakes. Served with a light frothy maple syrup butter, I ordered a side of crispy bacon which worked fine with the cranberries in the pancakes. See photo....More
The staff were very friendly and efficient. The broccoli soup was excellent as well as the variety of salads. Family friendly as well even though we were just a couple on our own.
