This diner style restaurant is popular with both the locals and tourists. It offers typical diner menu items but specializes in Seafood selections. Myself and the two other guests had the hot Lobster Sandwich that comes with fries and coleslaw. It was delicious!

This restaurant to me is the classic family run eating establishment that rose to prominence with the upgrading of our provincial highways back in the 40's and 50's. It harkens back to that independent diner era known for serving local fair with each restaurant specializing in a couple different dishes.Jo-Anne's has several of these plates with their lobster chowder being... As you come upon Joanne's you may think to yourself "this little place, what could they offer? Well GOOD OLD HOME COOKING is what they offer. It is a place full of regulars and a great place for NEWBIES too. The food was delicious, well prepared and fresh. I would strongly recommend the PAPA Joe burger. Our chef ROMAN created... More

Stopped for a quick lunch in the afternoon. Wasn't busy but service was quite slow. Seafood chowder was good, not as good as some days. Clams weren't that fresh. Meringue pie was tasty but not "mile high" as in past years...

We stopped at Jo-Anne's Quick-N-Tasty and had a nice family meal (there were 7 of us). Four had the Lobster Rolls and were not disappointed! The pies were also delicious! I had the blueberry pie it was great!

It has been quite awhile since my last visit here. I had enjoyed the food in the past but this time upon walking in I was hit with a "barn-like" smell. I had a Papa Joe burger and fries and enjoyed the food. The service was great and friendly as well. It was a bit pricey for a burger, fries... More

We had family pop into town unexpectedly the other day, and they wanted to take us out to lunch. They lived in Yarmouth decades ago, and spoke very fondly of Jo-Anne's, and asked if we could go. Having never been before, we were up for trying it. It's delicious! Our group ranged from a 3.5 year old to a great-grandmother,... More
