Great lunch had with my wife and fantastic staff to help you choose. Roast lamb sandwich with lamb, tzatziki, provolone, tomato and pickles served in the most magnificent setting. A building steeped in local history and architecture, once a bank and now a beautiful deli...keeping all of the old building character. Well done to the people who have invested in keeping a local heritage building alive, instead of making way for those damn modern apartments. The food was great !!!More

The interior benefits from some original old elements. Service was polite (order at the counter, take a seat and food is brought to you). Apart from some baked goods like muffins, the menu is mostly a build your own sandwich affair: select bread (actually more...of a bun), filling, toppings, sides, etc. Cold drinks are mostly offered in cans; ideal for take-out orders. My only complaint is that, on both visits here, my sandwich was so dry that I had to stop eating it. The bread is obviously fresh, my roast beef was obviously hand-cut. The result, however tasty it may have been, was really, really dry.More

We walked in off the street and pleasantly greeted. Mainly sandwiches made to order, but absolutely delicious bread, real meat, multiple cheese selections. Very nice staff delivered to our table quickly. Obviously a popular place with the locals. Lots of people greeted by name.

Old World is one of my favourite stops in Yarmouth. The food is delicious, and service is always warm and welcoming. In all the years I have stopped by, the menu offerings and high quality of food preparation have remained steadfast. If I arrive too...late for the breakfast sandwich, then my backup choice is their specialty sausage on multigrain bread with lettuce, tomato, mustard and smoked gouda.More

An excellent lunch in this charming little cafe. I had the daily soup ... beef onion stew. It was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every mouthful. My husband had some kind of chicken sandwich. It was packed with goodness and all homemade. Covid restrictions were in...place. It is a small space but very cozy. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Yarmouth.More

This place is quaint, and service amazing. We truly enjoyed our coffee experience . Because we were there in November, it was not too busy, and the atmosphere was very good.

I happen to come in just at closing but the delightful waitress was so kind and didn’t make me feel like she wished I would hurry up. In fact she encouraged me to take my time while she completed her tasks for the day. Oh...and did I mention the coffee was delicious and the muffin was just the snack I needed.More

We stopped in here for lunch when visiting Yarmouth. The service was great, the food was fresh. It was like having a homemade lunch made by a loving mother.

I meet friends here frequently for coffee and a snack. Service is always prompt and friendly. Recently ordered sandwiches to go for the first time. They were really good. Fresh baked pita-like Canadian brown bread (many types available), freshly roasted sandwich meat (beef, chicken, lamb,...pork), and fresh veggies. Only drawback was no potato chips, but I strolled down the street and picked them up.More

Stopped in for a late lunch while touring in the area. The bread used for making sandwiches was so fresh and delicious and their carrot cake is certainly worth a try - a very nice and cozy place with excellent service.
