Visited this place as it came recommended by a local while I shopped nearby; was in town on business for a day. Mature crowd with an obvious family atmosphere, the vibe was quiet and comfortable. Relaxing music in the background that wasn't annoying like most of today's top 40. Friendly staff, my order number was a small plastic bear which... More

After a morning of driving and finding the recommended eatery in town closed our party stopped in at The Gathering Tree on the main thoroughfare. The humble exterior belied a very warm and inviting interior. Despite feeling something of a café, a restaurant, and small shop, the establishment was warm and welcoming. We perused the chalkboard menu and ordered at... More

The latte and the breakfast panini were really good. The staff was friendly and I would definitely come back on my way though valemount.

We stopped at The Gathering Tree for brunch as we headed south from Jasper. There was a wide variety of food and coffees. The food was very good and the coffees delicious. There was also a good variety of desserts and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to the next time we pass through Valemount.

Food was fresh and delicious, friendly staff. We loved paintings on the wall and the gift shop as well.

This is a funky place with food, books, and gift shop. Had chicken samosa panini with tangy sauce. Date square was great. Friend gave 10/10 for coconut curry panini

We enjoyed the sandwiches they offer, they make a great veggie sandwich too. Great selection of teas and desserts. Unfortunately there was a long line up to order, which is the only downfall.

We walked up to the Gathering Tree thinking it was just a little coffee shop... which yes, they do serve lovely coffees... but I was floored to see they also offer massage, sound therapy, reflexology, sell crystals, and not to mention a lovely smelling menu! The highway into Jasper was closed so we spent some time here and felt really... More

It is right down town, has friendly staff, has a few unique items for sale, has a selection of pastry, squares, and muffins, as well as a pretty good lunch menu, you can get a special coffee made your way.

My wife discovered this cute coffee, chocolates and sandwich place while walking the Main Street in Valemount. Run by a enterprising set of women, it is very warmly decorated has a clear homely atmosphere for coffee, donuts and biscuits.. we loved it.. spent more than a hour looking over at the memorabilia and the gift shop attached to it. I... More

The Gathering Tree Eatery & Gift Shop was created around a small, yet powerful belief. That it is possible to create a great little shop in a very small town & to thrive. To create a special place that could give something back to all who come through it's doors. Whether it's the soothing atmosphere, a great cup of coffee - perhaps a tea, homemade lunch accompanied by relaxing music & conversations with friendly people, or the purchase of a gift you will cherish forever. We wanted to create a high integrity, affordable alternative to a world that spins sometimes a little too fast. It has been in the giving that we have received. The Gathering Tree -truly is a place where friends gather!
