This restaurant has closed in Sidney and is moving to Brentwood. When are you going to open Yami???? I keep looking in the window.

I have stopped in on multiple occasions for take out and have always had the most incredible service. I had stopped coming for almost a year as I moved away, but the moment I came through the door again I was instantly recognized and welcomed by the owners. The sushi is fantastic! I will be back again soon!

Stopped in here for a few rolls and some Sashimi. The prices were excellent and the sizes good (not huge which was nice). The fish was flavourful and the rice soft. There was no sloppy sauces or mayo drizzle on any of the rolls which made me very happy. Yami sushi let the fish and rice speak for itself! I... More

Regular lunch and take away spot run by a very friendly Japanese couple. The Dynamite roll sushi combo, tempuras and bento boxes are very tasty and fresh.

We've eaten here dozens of times since moving to the area 6 years ago .. nice people and good food, not the cheapest sushi, but close to the best in the area.

We had take out for four hungry people. This small restaurant is welcoming and atrractive and is run by Japanese people--a good sign. Because we were in a hurry, I ordered california rolls, dynamite rolls and pork gyozi. Despite being busy, we had the order in the promised 15 minutes. All three selections were quite good with generous amounts of... More

This is a small family-owned and operated restaurant. The husband prepares the meals and the wife serves even though she is a sushi chef in her own right. We have been going there for the past five years and the food is always consistently excellent. Service is efficient and fast and the owners are very attentive and friendly, aiming to... More

There were four adults & three very young children. We were charged half the adult rate yet the kids ate next to nothing. Although there was sushi without raw fish, the children wanted separate plates...which added to the cost and yet they still ate virtually nothing. The bill was high. Don't take little kids. A total waste of money, otherwise... More

The service here is ALWAYS super friendly and quick. The food is tasty, fresh and consistent. I always have a tuna green onion roll and it is never a bad choice!

We just stumbled upon this place and were pleasantly surprised! Staff were very attentive and food was top quality. The sit down eat-in area is quite small but the turnover of the tables was quite quick. Great quality for a fast-food sushi place!.....it was a little pricey though.
