Have not eaten here since it became a cavery on a sunday but glad we booked as it was very busy, we were not disappointed. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the cavery was amazing, 3 meat option with plenty of selection of veg (including my favourite's sprout's and parsnips) and potato's with lovely thick gravy. Living about 3 minutes drive from here, I'm amazed we didn't use it earlier. Great service, good menu (T bone for two was excellent.), and a nice, spacious eating area. Does not look a bit like it suggests from the outside. Driven past it hundreds of times. One thing negative, for me, no choice of any real ale. For me, it's... More

I visited a long time friend last week, and said I'd travel to Porth to see her. Asking for suggestions, she said this place had recently been done out and she'd heard good reviews. I was travelling on public transport, and not knowing the area well - this place was easy to find along the main High St; known locally... More

This was the first time I had visited since they have started their carvery lunch on Sunday and Wednesday and I was quite impressed. a good selection of home cooked meats with ample sized portions. There was a good selection of vegetables which were hot and tasty. In my opinion this was good value for money at £6.50 on a... More

Well what a dreadful place. Dodgy characters in one corner. Rude, more than my jobs worth staff. Food was nothing special and overpriced.
