The menu was relatively simple with notable specialties that included homemade pulled pork and ham, and locally-made fresh bread. Great food (had the vege omelette) The location is quaint and cozy. The service was a little bit slow, but the waitress was very kind and took her time making sure everyone was enjoying their experience. 10/10 would visit again.

Food is always fresh delicious and reasonably priced, staff is always friendly and attentive. Lots of microbrews available. Pasta dishes are really good!

An impromptu supper turned out to be a great discovery in Rivière du Loup. Café L'Innocent is located in the middle of Lafontaine hill. Once in, you can see a simple café. In the middle of the room, two long tables occupy the space. There is a cosy table by the window and benches on either side of the café.... More

The food was very good. Fresh and well prepared. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was a warm evening and we sat outside on the patio. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the local flavours.

Had a very nice meal. Service was excellent considering our French is very limited. They were more than willing to help translate. Also a great decor.

An overnight en route to Montreal from Fredricton led us to an unusual and delicious dinner. From the sweet Claudie who served us and explained the menu to the quality of the food, a great experience.

Great host and hostess-nice location-good variety of vegetarian items- however what looked good on paper did not translate as good- all ingredients were piled up in the dish we ordered but did not taste well together

We made a mistake with the address of the restaurant we intended, and ended up here. They were very nice, neighborhood dining. More vegan than my husband liked but the food was good.

We stopped in here for a beer. We got nachos that were much better than the usual Tex-Mex American variety. The food was great, the waiter was great so we decided to stay and have dinner. I had the tofu/veggie crepe that was creatively good, accompanied by grilled veggies on a bed of lettuce with seasoned French fries. My wife's... More

My wife and I had a delightfullly simple but delicious meal. It is always a challenge to get a meal that is pleasing both for a vegan (me) and a meat eater (my wife). We were both pleased with our drinks, a local cider and a local beer (Scotch Ale). She had pork poutine which was generous and flavourful and... More
