Had a great bowl of soup with slices of multi grain bread and a 'madelaine' and café au lait. Service is good, the place is clean and they carry local newspapers you can read while you eat.

We first found this excellent boulagerie on TripAdvisor two years ago. When we found ourselves in Rivière-du-Loup again, my husband and I made a beeline here for an early lunch before the long drive back to Bar Harbor. We were not disappointed! We found the same warm welcome and delicious food and drink. This time we dined in and enjoyed... More

Stopped in for breakfast, not much of a selection, so went with the egg in a bowl and salad, recommended by staff. Had to wait a very long time, when it eventually arrived the egg was virtually raw and inedible, the coffees we ordered came 10 minutes after the meal. Someone had forgotten to turn on the coffee machine! We... More

This bakery was so inviting from the street that we had to stop and go in. Once inside, even though we were not hungry, the aroma of freshly made cream of vegetable made us stay and have a mini lunch. The staff were very friendly and although we didn't speak French and they didn't speak fluent English, they made us... More

Gorgeous little homestyle bakery and restaurant. The ambiance is very warm and cosy with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The food was excellent. We had the Greek salad sandwich which was delicious and the vegetarians will love the Vegepate plate (we had the Indian option, there's also Cajun). Pastries and coffee and hot vanilla milk were delicious too

Nice latte bowl. Fresh made soups and light fare. Friendly people, nice environment, right in town. Can't go wrong.

We stayed in Rivière-du-Loup on our way back home to the Maritimes and stopped by this bakery for breakfast. More affordable then the site down restaurants at some of the hotels for sure and the service was great. The staff were very friendly and food was good. Liked the charm of the cafe/bakery in the centre of town, so much... More

Cute little bakery, not meant to be a restaurant. You walk in and they hand you a menu at the counter. You stand there, figure out what you want, order, pay (no receipt) and sit down and wait, wait and wait some more. The place was only half full but all the staff are busily running around. Eventually a staff... More

We read the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to try it. Excellent service, sandwiches and one of my most favourite hot chocolates ever. Rich and creamy. We will go back if ever in Riviere du.Loup again.

I just dropped in here for a light afternoon snack. Unfortunately it was close to closing time so the selection was limited however, I did have an apple and feta focaccia and a chocolate croissant. Both were absolutely delicious. Great little bakery!
