I had the stuffed chicken breasts with vegetables and garlic mashed potato. The meal was delicious and I would order again. The garlic bread hasn't changed over the years and is still the absolute best. I would love for Sinbads to stop wrapping baked potato in foil. I like to eat the skins but baked in foil makes them soggy... More

Was tired of all the "cod" in every place I ate in NL, so was grateful to finally see some red meat on a plate! I had the prime rib roast over here and was very pleased with the texture and taste. The service in here was also superb. This place has a good mood and is romantic.

Very good New-York steak, excellent mushroom and blue cheese appetizer. I would say it's even better than the Bistro on Roe!

I used the catering of Jeremy at the Mystic for a recent beer tasting. In a short conversation with Jeremy about the selected beers, he had so many ideas for food pairings! He solidified a great choice for each beer, and everyone was very very pleased! Mystic is on the pricey side for a Gander dining room, however, the ambiance... More

My father and I stayed at the "Sinbad Hotel" Monday night. As dinner time rolled around we were quite hungry after the hefty drive from St.John's & the endless construction hang ups. Not wanting to leave the hotel, we decided to eat at its restaurant "Mystic" First of all, when we walked in, we were greeted by a lady. She... More

The service is very friendly and the place is comfortable. The menu needs to offer a few healthier choices and less grease based dishes. The quality is not there and the prices are far to high for what you are served. There is something about the place I like but it's not the prices.

So we are a family in Gander for a hockey tournament sponsored by Steele hotels. Have to say hats off to the hotel for sponsoring and providing the hockey families with a buffet breakfast in the morning. It was your usual breakfast food -- not bad. However, there was one person in particular that served us that was ridiculous --... More

When I was in Gander on business, I had tried to have dinner at Bistro on Roe in Gander. They said I would have like a 30 minute wait. I decided to not take the time to wait and asked for a recommendation. The only suggestion that they could give was this place. Long story short - the service was... More

There were 6 of us for a girls evening out. Great experience. I had a stuffed salmon which was delicious. It was served with a Greek mashed potato, grilled asparagus and turnip. While I ate the potato, it was just ok. It had a bit too much dill for my liking. Everything else was delicious especially the salmon. The dining... More

I have dined there many times over the years for the supper/evening meal. Food has been consistantly good. Service is average. Atmosphere is nice on the evening.
