Apparently a lot of people attending our wedding in Fernie ate here, so on their advice we stopped in after the big day. I know why they stopped! Great food and amazing personal service. Oh and the chocolate pecan pie, that was an excellent finish.

For an amazing eat-in breakfast this is our first choice. Amazing coffee and a very unique menu makes the Blue Toque a great choice. Vegan options make this a very popular place and the wait can often be long on weekends but the small cafe...More

We decided to try this restaurant. The waitress was nice enough but when it came to ordering I asked if I could have cheddar cheese rather than swiss on my pastry. I was told the kitchen would not make amendments. My daughter asked for no...More

We eat at the Toque regularly for Breakfast, lunch or Brunch. It's location is ideal and the food is made from scratch and so good. Because it is homemade, it does take a little longer in the prep, but it is worth the wait. Tonight...More

This place does breakfast and lunch. It's located in the historic train station a short distance from the CPR mainline tracks. Sure enough, a train came by while we were dining to add that authentic atmosphere. The dining area is small but we had no...More

Thank you Rick for your kind review. I'd like to clarify for other readers that we do not accept reservations. It is my guess that Rick's group signed up on the waiting list which allows diners a call back service if there is a line-up.

Tucked away and worth finding!!! Food is excellent, one of the best meals we had in Fernie! Our friend recommended it and we were very happy!

Choices were numerous and enjoyed the specialty of the house. Only one piece of toast and noisy background detracted from the experience. There were three people with blue toques on in the restaurant. I left mine in the car! I'd go back.More

Hi. Do you have dairy free options? My daugher is not anaphalactic, so food with dairy may be prepared in the same space, just not included in her meals. Any recommendations for dairy free favorites? Holly
