A truly wonderful spot. We stayed in a cabin with a fireplace and it was very private and cozy and nicely appointed. We dined in the restaurant for breakfast and we had a lovely assortment of fresh berries, oatmeal, multigrain toast and good coffee. For our dinners we had wonderful service and really excellent meals. We had some food preferences... More

Our dinner here was absolutely delicious - scallops and bacon to start and then beautifully cooked tender pink lamb cutlets with a pear and salted caramel ice cream for dessert. All washed down with a variety of Canadian wines all of which were excellent. The service was very good too. A real holiday highlight.

We had lost our way and called in here to ask for directions. We also wanted a coffee and use of the restrooms but because we weren't eating the guy at reception refused us either coffee or restrooms! I have to say this was the worst treatment we'd had since landing in Canada - downright rude, in fact.

I have already written a review about the lodge but I wanted to specifically comment on the food. We found it to be excellent, if pricey. We enjoyed the rack of lamb - perfectly cooked, the short rib was one of the best I've ever tasted, the salmon and halibut were not over cooked and nicely presented. Soups were also... More

My husband and I wanted a nice relaxing retreat from our normal hustle and bustle of our daily lives... and this trip certainly was worth the drive for only a one night stay. I only wish there was a way we were able to stay longer... Absolutely amazing accommodations and the dining experience was out of this world!!

I love this place! I wasn't sure what to expect of cabins, feared they would be too rustic. But so warm and clean and cozy (while being spacious, not cramped!). The restaurant was yummy for dinner and a great buffet for breakfast. We cooked s'mores be the river. So fun!

I consider myself to be a foodie, having dined throughout North America and Europe, including many Michelin starred restaurant. This is one of the BEST meals I have ever had!!! Chef Alistair created a sublime dining experience. The food is very reasonably priced and the portions were substantial. I highly recommend the scallops, duck confit and featured appetizers. The main... More

A treat to stay here. Food delicious. Rooms lovely with your own fireplace and lounge. The main lounge very inviting and dining area lovely with huge windows looking out to lovely views in every direction. Yoho at your doorstep to explore, and yet away from the hustle and bustle so you can truly relax.

Incredible time here framed by the beautiful mountains around. We had two incredible days of hiking and after a long day on the trail this a remarkable reward! Wonderful escape.
