Stay away from the Croque Madame (Béchamel was cold; not enough cheese) but the other items are very good especially the egg with cheese on a bun! Cosy place, wonderful staff.

This was my second visit to Truffle Pigs restaurant. Let me start this review first by saying that we were late for our reservation and had changed the number of people coming quite a few times so I can see how that would be annoying! The man on the phone was quite frank with us every time we called to... More

What a quaint, quirky restaurant! My family and I dined at this beautiful restaurant for lunch over the Christmas holidays and were blown away. The hamburgers were so tasty and the portion sizes were perfect. The fries and accompaniments were delicious too. The service was great and the waiter was friendly and helpful. We were so impressed with this restaurant... More

Stopped for breakfast based on previous TA reviews. Cute place, first impression is it looked fun. We waited to be seated while the waitress talked on the phone; she then motioned us to sit where ever. First announcement was the coffee machine was broke so nothing fancy for drinks. I ordered the "specialty" "Croque Madame"- ... it took forever for... More

11 Kiwis and Canadians had the best night of food, service and entertainment with a local band. After a long day snowmobiling this was the perfect finish. Field is a very small town just off the highway. The restaurant is warm, local and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere inside and serving generously sized, delicious food, you just have to try it. The... Never had wild boar before and enjoyed it in their Wild Boar Wellington dish! Our boys had their gourmet mac and cheese and pan seared duck, all of which was devoured. The carrot ginger soup was more spicey than we would have liked, but we ate it all. Good beer, cozy atmosphere and very nice staff. Make a reservation!!

If you are in or near Field, British Columbia plan your travels around the Truffle Pigs Restaurant. Field is a tiny, curious little village. The Truffle Pig offers outstanding food. The BBQ Pork Tacos are one of those rare treats that when my wife and i took our first bite, we both looked at each other and said, "WOW". Friendly... More
